The movie I Origins is a science fiction movie of American which has been written, directed and produced by Mike Cahill. The movie I Origins has been premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on 18 January, 2014 by independent production. After the premiere, Fox Searchlight Pictures bought rights to worldwide distribution of the movie. The movie won the festival's Alfred P. Sloan Prize, which recognizes movie that depict science and technology. The win was Cahill's second his movie Another Earth also won the prize in 2011. I Origins will also screen at the Brooklyn based BAM cinema Fest and the Nantucket movie Festival both in late June 2014. The movie I Origins was release by Fox Searchlight in theaters on 18 July, 2014. The official was says, I Origins like a molecular biologist whose study of the human eye points to evidence with far reaching implications related our scientific and spiritual beliefs. The movie I Origins was co-produced by Verisimilitude and Work Studios with help from Bersin Pictures and Penny Jane Films.
